Springfield United attracts international quality.
Logan Drain, the former captain of Waitakere City in the New Zealand Football Championship (the NZ national league) has agreed to play for Springfield United for the remainder of 2009 with a view to playing in 2010. As cover for the losses of Paul Abbey, Reuben McDonigle, Leighton James and the injured Trevor Connell, I have no doubt Logan will provide the cutting edge we have been looking for.
Logan brings a wealth of experience, composure on the ball and we will no doubt see his true class shine through. He is best known for his acrobatic goals and seldom loses a ball in the air. He provides a clinical finish when chances present and will work until after the final whistle.
Work brought Logan here but he loves his football and is excited to kit up for Springfield United.
