Catch up game tomorrow night (22 September)

Due to us having a game tomorrow night vs Brisbane City, we will be postponing training tonight.

Please let us know ASAP if you can make tomorrows game. If you have a niggling injury please rest it (but let us know), and anyone who wants to play tomorrow will get a run.

The game is a 7:30pm kick-off at Prentice Park, Thistle St, Lutwyche.

I will put up the team this evening.

Not a bad outcome considering the last half hour of intense defence being required.

fresh from securing our finals spot last Friday, the div 1 lads came up against the team they could very well be playing in their elimination final next Friday - Brisbane City.

Our first midweek game saw us rest a number of players for finals and see some of the ressies step up and be counted. Thanks lads!!!

The pitch was terrible. Worse than ours...

The result was 2-2. The game was pretty dull except for the 10 mins either side of half time when we ran riot in midfield and stretched their defence time and time again. In this 20 minute spell we saw Pat Matchett steal in at the back post for a header (off a going know where up and over) and Ryan Ginard somehow forrest gumping in the box and toe punting it in the goal.

The rest of the game was soured by Joey's send-off and the 2 goals from the Lions.

Conclusion: The team we played was pants and with our 5 first team regulars to come back we would dust these punks in the finals

Finals are next friday !? Shiiiiiiit better get this leg sorted !
