Giddy Up !
I can feel a double win for the club. About time we get this cup monkey off our backs.

Well Gents. Last night saw us complete the first round of the Cup with my team going down 7:1 with Linton scoring very nicely off a penalty shot and John's team getting up with a 9:1 win with some beautiful football played and goals scored by Ash (4), Steve (2), Brownie (1), Finn (1) and Luis (1). Please correct me if this count is wrong.
Across the board John and are very pleased with everyone's efforts. There are some things that still need to be worked on, but that's what training is all about.
See you at training.

Re: CUP ROUND 1
can't believe you forgot my goal...shame on you Warren, shame.
I can run it by you move by move if you wish!
Goals to Ash (3), SCOM (2), Me (1), Finn (1), Browny (1) and Luis (1)
Records broken;
1. First cup game won
2. Most Ginger in a defensive line (3/4)
cheers,
Ryan

Re: CUP ROUND 1
Sorry Ginsy. I stand corrected. Now that you mention it, I do remember your claim to fame. I think I was too clouded by Steve's & Luis' multiple attempts.
Well done.
Well done.

lmao you forgot highest winning score for SUFC, most goals scored in a game, biggest winning margin and most woodwork hit in one match and most by yours truly. Im gutted that last shot clipped the keepers foot and thudded into the post - still i'm most happy that Ash & I ran their defence into the ground in the first half, it really paid off for the team.
Our team play was immense and VERY VERY impressive as we grew into the game
Special mention to our rookie stand in keeper who didnt have too much to do but did it well when called upon !

Re: CUP ROUND 1
Steve, i must agree on the intense type of football i saw for the whole game. It was that you all gained the confidence and calmness between yourselves that showed the true and overwhelming type of game you can play as one. As the season progresses, as you all did in the second half, you will enjoy and relax your styles of football and it will come so simple it will become a stroll in, sorry, on the park. WELL DONE TO YOU ALL.
